Got Books?: Beverly Public Library Hosting Fundraiser Drive

BEVERLY, MA — The Beverly Public Library is in need of books.

Not books to be loaned out. The library has plenty of those.

But the library is looking for residents to donate their already-read books in good condition to be sold at book fairs to raise money for library programs.

Residents can drop off a maximum of two bags or two boxes full of books in new or very good condition in the Children's Room at 32 Essex Street.

VHS taps, CDs, DVDs, vinyl records, encyclopedias, magazines and textbooks cannot be expected.

Donated books will be sold at the Friends of Beverly Public Library book sale fundraiser.
