Bailey Found Safe: Beverly Police

BEVERLY, MA — It's a dog-sitter's worst nightmare: having a pup get away from them after the owners entrusted them to keeping their furriest member of the family safe. But Bailey is home safe, thanks to the keen eyed efforts of residents, pet lovers and folks around town, including Massachusetts

"A large thank you needs to go out to Missing Dogs Massachusetts for their efforts during this matter. They are always such a large help in matter such as this and a great helping hand when a job requires many hands to successfully complete," write the Beverly Animal Control Sunday.

Beverly Animal Control sounded the alarm this weekend for folks to keep an eye out for Bailey the black and white pup. She got away fromt the human who was dogsitting her while her family was on vacation. She was last seen in Beverly Farms, and then near the Brooke Woods School, but she lives on Ryal Side. Animal Control said she may have scooted toward Manchester on the Sea.
