How to Benefit from a New Healthcare Model at the North Shore Business Forum's Meeting on Friday, 5/6/2016 Acapulcos, Beverly

"Your health is your wealth." The healthcare system is changing, learn new ways to get the most benefit from it.

In her talk “Healthcare with a Direct Impact,” featured speaker Dr. Carmela Mancini of Gold Direct Care in Marblehead, MA, will explain how the primary care service system has, over the last decade, abandoned the doctor-patient relationship in favor of a system dictated by insurance plans and focused on profitability. Dr. Mancini practices a healthcare model called Direct Primary Care, which focuses on quality care delivered in a personal, transparent, and cost-effective way. Come and learn how Direct Primary Care differs in cost and focus from the current system and concierge medicine. The North Shore Business Forum meets on Friday, May 6 at Acapulcos, 900 Cummings Center, Beverly, MA. Registration begins at 7:15 AM, the meeting runs from 7:30 to 8:30. Admission is $10 at the door, and includes a buffet breakfast. Visit www.nsbforum.org for more information.
