JAWS were dropping as words of hate were spoken at a recent screening!

"Jaws" Star Faces Backlash After Alleged Racist, Homophobic Rant.

A film screening at The Cabot Theatre for Performing Arts in Beverly, Massachusetts turned sour Saturday night after actor Richard Dreyfuss launched into a tirade filled with racist and homophobic slurs.

Dreyfuss, known for his role in Steven Spielberg's classic film "Jaws," was reportedly a guest speaker at a film screening. Witnesses reported that Dreyfuss' demeanor shifted abruptly during his speech, becoming increasingly agitated and using offensive language towards various groups. The rant reportedly began with comments about Barbra Streisand, then transitioned to criticisms of women and the MeToo movement. Finally, it escalated to transphobic remarks about children and gender identity.

Event organizers quickly condemned Dreyfuss' actions in a statement released shortly after the incident. "The Cabot Theater for Performing Arts is appalled by the hateful language used by Mr. Dreyfuss during a screening last night," the statement reads. "The Cabot Center is a welcoming and inclusive space, and we condemn all forms of hatred and bigotry."

Social media erupted with outrage after news of the incident spread. Many users expressed disappointment in Dreyfuss' behavior, with some calling for boycotts of future projects he may be involved in. Despite the apology, some attendees felt a refund was warranted as the event deviated significantly from the expected light and fun experience.

Dreyfuss has yet to address the allegations publicly. Attempts to reach him or The Cabot for comment have been unsuccessful.
