Jay Leno To Perform At Beverly's Historic Cabot Theater's 'Big Night'

BEVERLY, MA — Legendary comedian and late-night television host Jay Leno will be the special headlining performer at the historic Cabot Theater's gala fundraising event "The Cabot's Big Night" this coming spring.

The show will be on May 11 at 7:30 p.m.

The event each year helps support the century-old theater and its capital improvement project. The final phase of those improvements includes exterior renovations aimed at "fully establishing the iconic building's status as a cultural anchor in downtown Beverly and the North Shore."

"We couldn't be more thrilled about Big Night 2024 and the prospect of bringing our community together once again," Cabot Executive Director Casey Soward said. "The Cabot has always been about more than just entertainment — it's about fostering a sense of unity and shared experience.

"Jay's unparalleled comedic talent and charisma will undoubtedly make this event an unforgettable evening as we gather not only in celebration of our progress in upgrading The Cabot but in celebration of our North Shore community."

This year's Cabot's Big Night honorees include SV Design principal and founder Thad Siemasko, who has helped spearhead efforts to renovate and revive the theater since "The Founders" helped save it in 2014.

Leno, an Andover native, was at the heart of the heyday of late-night television with two decades as host of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" following the retirement of Johnny Carson. He currently hosts "Jay Leno's Garage" on CNBC, which is in its seventh season.

Sponsorships and VIP tickets, which include premium seats and a party before the performance, are currently on sale. Remaining tickets will be made available for Cabot Club members, with any remaining seats sold to the general public starting in January, if available.
