Kathleen Feldman Endorsed by Mass Women's Political Caucus
Beverly Ward 5 City Council Candidate, Kathleen Feldman, endorsed by Massachusetts Women's Political Caucus
On Wednesday, July 10, the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus (MWPC) announced that it is endorsing Beverly Ward 5 City Council candidate Kathleen Feldman.
“We believe decisions about our communities should include women’s voices,” says Pam Berman, president of the MWPC. “We need leaders like Kathleen Feldman, who will be a strong decision maker and advocate on the Beverly City Council.” Berman adds, “We need to change the face of leadership in Massachusetts, where fewer than 27% of municipal offices are held by women. MWPC is proud to endorse and stand with Kathleen Feldman.”
Feldman welcomed the endorsement of the group, which was founded in 1971, and praised its mission.

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus, which is at the forefront of supporting greater parity of representation for women in elected offices within our state,” Feldman says. “We need more women in office to better represent the totality of our community. That said, I am not running because I am a woman, but rather, because I have been listening to my fellow Beverly Ward 5 residents. They are ready for a change, including fresh ideas and action on education, the environment, transportation, and fiscal responsibility.”
Feldman will be available to meet with North Beverly voters at Panera Bread in North Beverly Plaza on Wednesday, July 24 at 8:30-9:30 a.m. Feldman is the operations manager at the Wenham Museum and is involved in the Beverly community as PTO treasurer for North Beverly Elementary School and Generosity Committee chair at First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church. She is also an active volunteer for the Beverly chapters of national organizations such as Family Promise and the Boy Scouts of America. Feldman lives in North Beverly with her husband, Mike, and their two sons. For more information, visit kathleenfeldman.com.
