Featured speaker Kim Carpentier of Valley Credit Repair -- "Credit Scoring: Know the Rules of the Game!"
The North Shore Business Forum (NSBF) meets on Friday, October 2, 2015 at Acapulcos, 900 Cummings Center, Beverly, MA. Featured speaker Kim Carpentier of Valley Credit Repair will explain how the personal credit industry works, highlighting key issues for small business owners. Registration begins at 7:15 AM, the meeting runs from 7:30 to 8:30. Admission is $10 at the door, and includes a buffet breakfast. Visit www.nsbforum.org for more information.
Kim’s presentation on “Credit Scoring: Know the Rules of the Game” will cover the three major credit bureaus and how FICO relates to them. He’ll explain how information flows from data providers to the credit bureaus to FICO and back to the data providers. You’ll learn how the dispute process works, and what to do when there are mistakes on your credit report. This matters because having a strong credit report and corresponding credit score allows you to save thousands of dollars, in interest fees, over time.
