Liberty Lodge Awards $1K Scholarship To Beverly High Graduate
Lucy Lauranzano plans to attend Plymouth State College this fall.
BEVERLY, MA — A recent Beverly High graduate who plans to continue her studies at Plymouth State College will do so with the help of a $1,000 scholarship from Liberty Lodge, A.F. & A.M. in Beverly.
Lucy Lauranzano was presented with the scholarship at a recent ceremony.
She earned the Chester H. Battis Scholarship.

Battis was a longtime member of the lodge and an educator as well as principal of the Briscoe Middle School.
