A live theater event at The Cabot in Beverly on Wednesday, May 25 will benefit victims of the current war in Ukraine. Bella, An Immigrant’s Tale, tells the uplifting story of a woman who escapes the Russian pogroms of the early 20th century to build a new life in America. Written and performed by Vicki Summers, the show has previously appeared in Los Angeles, Florida, and on Cape Cod. This will be its North Shore premiere. Watch a trailer here.

Admission is by donation, with a suggested minimum of $25 per person. The goal is to raise $10,000 with all money going to Red Cross Ukraine, the International Rescue Committee, and the World Kitchen (chefs for Ukraine).

Bella is co-sponsored by The Cabot and Leading Ladies. More information at leadingladiesvote.org. Register at theCabot.org.
