Fukijo worked as a market research consultant for computer manufacturing companies and taught Japanese language and literature at community colleges and universities in the United States. She studies the relationship between prayer and healing, consciousness and reality, spirituality and well-being.
After falling ill in her mid-thirties and searching for a lasting cure, she found Christian Science and has since witnessed many healings for herself, her family and among friends. Based in Tokyo, Japan though living part time in Pleasant Gap, PA, Fukijo is now devoted to the healing practice of Christian Science. She lectures internationally on the topic of spiritual healing as a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship.
