Man Gets Probation For Threat At Beverly Abortion Clinic
Joshua Paiva, 21, of Manchester, NH, told police he left a bullet at the Beverly medical office "because they killed my baby."

BEVERLY, MA -- Joshua Paiva, 21, of Manchester, NH, pleaded guilty Wednesday to one charge of illegally possessing ammunition without a firearms identification card in a plea deal following his arrest for making a threat against a Beverly medical office. Paiva was accused of leaving a 9mm bullet at the office on Feb. 14 and told police ""I left the bullet there because they killed my baby" when he was arrested in New Hampshire last month.
According to the Salem News, which first reported this story, Paiva's girlfriend had received an abortion at the clinic. Staff at Health Quarters were alarmed and called police after discovering the bullet in the lobby. Paiva has been arrested at least two times in New Hampshires on drug possession charges.
