Man Struck by Lightning on Hillcrest Road

The man is not believed to be seriously injured.

A 60-year-old man suffered a minor lightning strike on Tuesday afternoon.

The man was taking an outdoor shower on Hillcrest Road a little after 3 p.m., according to Beverly Fire Captain Petronzio.

He apparently touched a metal knob on the shower and felt a zap from the lightning, Petronzio said.
