Massachusetts Man Will Ship "Historic" Snow Anywhere

Kyle Waring is turning the white stuff into the green stuff.

Waring, who lives in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Mass., launched ShipSnowYo this winter.

“We’re drowning in 5 feet of snow....,” Waring wrote on his website. “We desperately need your help getting this snow out of our city.”

Waring advertises six pounds of snow from Winter Storm Neptune for $89. Neptune hit New England over the Valentine’s Day weekend.

“Wouldn’t you love to make snowballs and touch snow for the first time?! We package ~6 lbs of fresh snow from Neptune into a thick (1.5”) insulated Styrofoam container that measures 12.25” x 12.25” x 12”. All shipments are made overnight and arrive anywhere in the US in under 20 hrs!” -- ShipSnowYo’s website.

Waring was selling a water bottle filled with snow for $19.99, but he tweeted on Wednesday that he was replacing that option with more options for guaranteed snow on arrival. He plans on selling 10-pound packages of snow.

Boston and Massachusetts have received record amounts of snowfall this winter, making Waring’s snow for sale ”historic.”

Waring has shipped 928,872 snowflakes, which translates into 133 orders as of Wednesday night.
