MassPay Enters Administrative Services Offerings Space; Announces Promotion and New Hires

MassPay, New England’s leading client-focused payroll company, has announced expanded services and new hires to keep pace with company growth and client demand. The company has added Administrative Services Offerings (ASO) to its lineup of services, and as a result, small and mid-sized businesses can now leverage MassPay for human capital management, as well as payroll administration and business insurance. The new services include pre-employment verification, creating custom employee handbooks, building job descriptions and performance management processes, employee training, COBRA administration, Flexible Spending Account administration, and 401(k) services. 

MassPay has seen revenues more than double over the past three years and has also seen an increase in new clients of 100% since 2008.  The new ASO practice has been developed to allow MassPay to serve as a more robust support system to clients so they can focus on their core competencies while implementing superior operational services.

As part of its growth strategy, MassPay has promoted Josh Soroko to serve as Vice President of Operations. In his new role, Soroko will develop and execute the company’s day-to-day processes. He moves into his new role from his previous role as Operations Manager and has been with the company since 2010.

MassPay has also hired Paul Carelis as Division Leader for the new ASO practice. Carelis is responsible for directing the planning, development, implementation, and administration of MassPay’s Human Resources ASO function. He is responsible for providing human capital management services to MassPay clients. Carelis joins MassPay from Paychex, where he most recently served as a HR Generalist.

Luke Goodemote has also joined MassPay as Business Development Manager to help introduce ASO services to businesses. Goodemote was most recently with Oracle, where he was a Business Intelligence Sales Manager. In his new role at MassPay, he will be responsible for introducing the new human capital management services to both existing and new MassPay clients.

Underscoring the company’s recent growth, MassPay was recently recognized as one of Boston Business Journal’s 2014 “Pacesetters,” a collection of the fastest growing companies in the greater Boston area. In addition, MassPay was recently honored by the Greater Beverly Chamber of Commerce as the Small Business of the Year for 2013.
