MIKAELA MACOMBER, OLIVIA TYNER AND CHARLOTTE VEATOR OF BEVERLY LIGHT UP THE STAGE IN BOSTON CHILDREN'S THEATRE'S PRODUCTIO

The roaring 20’s come to life in Boston Children’s Theatre (BCT) exuberant production of THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE! Featuring the talents of 18-year old Mikaela Macomber, 15-year old Olivia Tyner, and 15-year old Charlotte Veator of Beverly, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE runs August 6 – 9 at Shore Country Day School in Beverly, MA.
Cast in the role of ‘Lucille,’ an aspiring actress, Mikaela was most recently seen in BCT’s production of Fame. She has also performed with Spotlight Playhouse in Into the Woods, Pentucket Players in Les Miserables, Community House in Little Women, and Neverland Theatre in Les Miserables. A recent graduate of Beverly High School, Mikaela was seen Singin’ in the Rain, West Side Story, and Thoroughly Modern Millie at Beverly High School. Mikaela will be entering Merrimack College in the fall.
Beverly High School students Olivia Tyner and Charlotte Veator have both in cast in the Ensemble of THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE. Charlotte has been seen in BCT’s productions of Legally Blonde and Footloose, and has performed with the YMCA of the North Shore Theatre in Hairspray, Shakespeare Gone Mad and The Little Mermaid Jr. She has also appeared in Anything Goes with Manchester SummerStage.

Based on the zany new musical that took Broadway by storm, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE is a high-spirited musical romp that will have audiences dancing the Charleston in the aisles! Based in New York City in 1922, young Millie Dillmount has just moved to the big city in search of a new life for herself. It’s a New York full of intrigue and jazz – in a time when women were entering the workforce and the rules of love and social behavior were changing forever. Directed by Rory Pelsue, with choreography by Nicole Soriano and Musical Direction by Justin Brown, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE has a book by Richard Henry Morris and Dick Scanlan, new music by Jeanine Tesori, and new lyrics by Dick Scanlan.
Performances of THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE are Thursday, August 6 at 7:30 pm, Saturday, August 8 at 8 pm and Sunday, August 9 at 2 pm.
