Missing Beverly Teen Found Safe
The boy's sister credits social media with helping locate her brother, who was reported missing after skipping school Wednesday.

BEVERLY, MA -- A 15-year-old from Beverly who was reported missing Wednesday night was found safe on Thursday morning. Julia McAlpine, the boy's sister, posted on social media that he had been found at the Beverly Skate Park .
McAlpine contacted police and began posting pleas on social media Wednesday after learning that her brother had skipped school on Wednesday. McAlpine said on Facebook that it followed out-of-character behavior in recent days. She grew more concerned after checking with his friends and their parents.
"My brother has been found early this morning at the skate park due to all your help. I appreciate everyone sharing and giving any information that you knew of. Thank you so much everyone!" she posted on Facebook Thursday.
