Mobile Parking App Goes Citywide in Beverly
Program goes citywide after a successful pilot program.

Drivers in Beverly can now use their smartphones to pay for parking throughout the city at all lots and street parking meters.
The city recently rolled out GoParkit’s GPS pay by cell parking application on a citywide basis. GoParkit Technologies Inc. developed the app which enables drivers to conduct parking transactions with their smart phone.
The mobile system eliminates the need for coins and cash and warns the user 15 minutes prior to their ticket expiring. After a successful three-month pilot program, the app is now available citywide to pay for parking. The pilot saw a larger than expected number of drivers adopt the system with many users choosing the app each day. .
