Movie Matinee and Bicycle Rodeo among Homecoming Highlights

There’s an early start to Homecoming Days events today with a free movie matinee at the Senior Center at 9 a.m. that is open to all.

From noon to 4 p.m., be sure not to miss tours of the Hospital Point Lighthouse, which is normally closed to the public.

There will be tours of the Beverly Bootstraps facilities at 371 Cabot St. from noon to 3 p.m.

The Mud Eye Puppet Show and Steel Drum Concert will be entertaining the crowds at Veterans Memorial Park from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

There will be a performance from the Kenny Irish Dance Academy at Lynch Park at 3 p.m., followed by a bicycle safety rodeo from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

An ice cream social will be taking place at Lynch Park from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with proceeds to benefit the Homecoming fireworks.

The BHS Alumni Soccer Game is at Birch Field at 6 p.m.

There will be an historical walking tour at the Beverly Common Bandstand at 6:30 p.m.

Finally, there will be a free concert from Dub Apocalypseat the Spotlight Tavern on Rantoul Street at 9:30 p.m.
