Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea? Norovirus?

Watch this short video on norovirus. Protect yourself by washing your hands with water and soap.

Norovirus is the most common cause of gastroenteritis in the US. Some people call it the stomach flu. Its main symptoms consist of nausea, stomach pain, vomiting, and diarrhea. Some people may experience fever and headache.

Norovirus is a foodborne-illness, meaning that you get infected by food or drinks that have been contaminated. You may also get sick by touching a soiled surface and putting your hands into your mouth.

Anyone can be affected by norovirus. Children and elders are more at risk due to dehydration that follows constant vomiting and diarrhea.
