The members of the NE Brass have been the 1st call broadway pit players in the Boston
area for over 30 years. Performing regularly in the house orchestras at the Boston
Opera House, Citi Performing Arts Center, Shubert Theatre, Providence Performing Arts
Center and most notably, Beverly’s own North Shore Music Theatre, these musicians
have made a career in performing this glorious and historically significant American art
form.
This program features many of their very favorite shows including the music from Porgy
and Bess, West Side Story, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Three Penny Opera, Cats and Les
Miserables. It also features a special solo performances from trumpet player, Jay Daly
of Beverly.
The performance will culminate with an informative and entertaining musical narrative of
the history of American musical theatre. It will be narrated by the General Manager and
“the Voice of the North Shore Music Theatre,” Ms. Karen Nascembeni.
