New Kids Cross-Country Running Series Starts This Weekend
Registration is open for a new 3-race cross-country running series for Beverly students in kindergarten through 8th grade.

Beverly, Mass. - A new cross-country running series for Beverly students kicks off this weekend. Registration is open now.
The Beverly Cross-Country Running Series will be three races on Sunday evenings in April and May, open to all Beverly students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
Runners will be divided up by age and top runners in each race will be recognized. Other "fun" awards will be handed out, and the Beverly school with the best participation will also be recognized.

The race dates are April 29, May 6 and May 13 and it will all happen at 5 p.m. each Sunday evening at North Beverly Elementary School, 48 Putnam St. Younger ages will run on the field behind the school and the course for older elementary school and middle school students will also use the trails of the neighboring Norwood Pond nature area.

The goal of the races are to expose Beverly children to the sport of cross-country running. All proceeds will benefit the North Beverly Elementary PTO.
