Hamilton man elected to college board

KENT WOSEPKA ELECTED TO MONTSERRAT COLLEGE OF ART BOARD OF TRUSTEES

BEVERLY -- Kent Wosepka of Hamilton has been elected to the Board of Trustees at Montserrat College of Art. An adjunct Professor of Finance at the Carroll School of Management at Boston College, he previously served as a Partner at Goldman Sachs where he was the Global Head of Corporate Credit and Co-Head of Sector Allocation in Goldman's Asset Management Division. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, he was the Chief Investment Officer at Standish Mellon Asset Management Company. Mr. Wosepka has also held analyst positions at Rowe Price-Fleming International and Jeffrey Slocum & Associates.

"Montserrat is such a unique contributor to both the vibrancy of the North Shore and the lives of its student artists,” he said. “ I am thrilled and excited to join the board and look forward to being part of its continued success.”

Wosepka earned an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago and a B.A. from Williams College, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) holder. He also serves on the Board of Essex County Greenbelt. He is the father three children and his family includes two dogs and two goats, named Tom and Brady.

Montserrat College of Art is educating the designers, artists, entrepreneurs and problem solvers for a rapidly changing world that requires creative solutions to new challenges. At the intersection of design and technology, the college offers three international programs, 12 concentrations and a required internship program. Montserrat alumni are employed by some of the country's biggest brands including Disney, Puma, Hasbro and more. Students earn the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and develop their skills for success in today's growing creative economy. The college also offers year-round classes for youth, teens and adults through our Continuing Education Division, and has four public galleries offering year-round, free, exhibitions and lectures.
