A Night at Panera for CameroonONE
Panera in Beverly, One-Night Event, Thursday June 30th 4-8pm, nonprofit, fundraising

My name is Kimberly Dawes and I'm a local from Beverly. Please come out next Thursday, June 30th at the Panera on 57 Dodge Street, Beverly between 4-8pm to support the nonprofit CameroonONE!
This summer I am interning at CameroonONE, a non-profit in Boston. CameroonONE's purpose is to provide foster care for orphans in Cameroon. Many of the children are parentless due to HIV/AIDS, however, they still have living extended family members who are not financially able to care for them. This is where CameroonONE comes in. They place the children into the homes of relatives, like aunts, uncles and cousins, and give the family a stipend to cover school feels, health care and vaccines, and other living expenses (like soap, cooking oil, rice, and seeds).
Part of my job is to fundraise for CameroonONE. My goal is $2,500 and I need your help! Next Thursday, June 30th, I am hosting a fundraising event at the Panera on 57 Dodge Street in Beverly from 4-8pm. Panera agreed to donate a percentage of their sales to CameroonONE if this flyer is presented. In order to get the maximum percentage of donation, I need at least 50 people to come to Panera with a flyer. If a flyer is presented before or after the time slot of 4-8pm, it will not count. So please make arrangements with old friends, catch up from the long year of school or work, and come support CameroonONE! If you forget to bring the flyer, I will be there at Panera and have some printed out to hand to you. I'm sure you'll be able to find me.

For some background on myself, I was adopted from China and I arrived in the US without any health care (no vaccines, high lead levels in my blood). Since first grade, I asked for donations in lieu of birthday gifts to two sponsor girls from my orphanage for foster care. From personal experience, I have seen what a difference foster care and health care can make in a child's life. This work really resonants with me and I hope it can strike a chord with you too.
