North Shore Elder Services Welcomes Michelle Cohn as Human Resources Manager
New Human Resources Manager hired by North Shore Elder Services
Michelle comes to NSES from a career as the Human Resources Manager for Cedar's Mediterranean Hills in Haverhill, MA. Michelle also has experience as a Recruiter of nurses and paraprofessionals for a home health agency. In addition to her years of human resources experience, Michelle was an elementary school teacher for five years.
Michelle studied Business and Marketing for her undergraduate degree from Suffolk University and completed a Master's degree from Lesley College in Elementary Education.
Michelle had the desire to seek a change from working in the for-profit world. She had done mission work in the past and was interested in service organizations and service projects. Checking North Shore Elder Services’ website, she read of the Human Resources Manager position and decided working for a non-profit organization and one that she was familiar with, was the direction she wanted to pursue. One of Michelle’s family members had received services from NSES and Michelle herself had been in a caregiving role in the past.
