BEVERLY, MA — David Modzelweski is taking the helm of the YMCA of the North Shore's competitive aquatics program that attracts swimmers from throughout the region.

Modzelewski was previously the program's associate head coach and has coached YMCA teams in Wilton and Chesire, Connecticut as well as being the former head girls swim team coach at Chesire High School.

"We are really excited for Dave to move into our swim team's head coach role," YMCA of the North Shore Director of Operations Arthur Athanas said. "His background coupled with the fact that he has already been with us for almost seven months enables him to build on an already strong program and effectively lead our swimmers as they reach their goals."
