NSCM presents FREE family-friendly concert Feb. 28

North Shore Chamber Music presents a free family-friendly concert 3PM on Sunday, February 28th in Beverly, MA.

Returning for their first offering of 2016, North Shore Chamber Music will share the gorgeous and playful music of Rachmaninoff and Ravel.

On Sunday, February 28th at 3 PM NSCM Co-Founder and North Shore local Melissa Bull will play the jazzy Violin Sonata by Ravel with Kathryn Christensen Lieppman at the piano. Lieppman will also play the incredibly difficult piano part of the magnificent Rachmaninoff Cello Sonata, featuring NSCM Co-Founder Scott Thomas Lesser on the cello. Bull and Lesser will also perform a delightful Sonatina string duo, and all three will close the matinee with a dueling gypsy “violin” fireworks with a trio rendition of Zigeuenerweisen (“Gypsy Airs”) by Sarasate.
