Barry W. Conroy, 62, died Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the Beverly Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Boston, he was the son of Paul and Barbara (McCarthy) Conroy of Newburyport.

Barry had a passion for music. He enjoyed the “Blues” and playing the guitar. He was also an avid reader and a sports fan, especially watching his beloved Red Sox on the television. He enjoyed riding his bike and was often seen peddling around Beverly.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Julie Conroy and her partner, Peter Masse of Amesbury. He was also the brother of the late Paul Emil Conroy and Frank Douglas Conroy.
