Ethel (Kessaris) Rowe 90, beloved wife of Ralph M. Rowe, died Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Hunt Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Danvers.
Born and raised in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Kirios) Kessaris. She was a graduate of Beverly High School, class of 1942.

Mrs. Rowe had been employed for many years as a secretary at Salem State College until the time of her retirement. After graduating high school, during World War II, Ethel had worked as a human resources secretary at the General Electric Company in Lynn.
Mrs. Rowe enjoyed to travel and as well as spending time with her extended family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband with whom she shared sixty seven years of marriage, she is survived by her son, David R. Rowe of Beverly, two sisters, Constance Christo of Beverly and Catherine Sigurdson of Danvers, a brother, Charles Kessaris of Danvers and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Effie Wallace, Jane Callichy, Kenneth, George and Paul Kessaris.
