Obituary: Jennie A. Alexander, Employed at the Former United Shoe Machinery Corp. in Beverly in the Parts and Machine Inventory Control Departments For Over 40 Years

Jennie A. Alexander, Beverly, passed away peacefully in her home on May 15, 2015 at the age of 91. Born on November 30, 1923 in Peabody, she was the daughter of John R. and Jennie F. (Smith) Alexander and was a lifelong resident of Beverly.

Miss Alexander was a graduate of Beverly High School, Class of 1943. Prior to her retirement in 1984, she had been employed for 41 years at the former United Shoe Machinery Corp. in Beverly in the Parts and Machine Inventory Control Depts.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church North Shore in Ipswich, Massachusetts.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Carolyn Alexander, of Beverly, wife of the late James Alexander. She was also the sister of the late John R. Alexander Jr.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly on Friday at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
