Obituary: Joan M. Ferrick; Dedicated Mother, Registered Nurse

A longtime resident of Beverly, she dedicated her life to her profession but most of all, her children.

Joan M. Ferrick, 76, died Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Brentwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Danvers.

Born and raised in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Flores) Ferrick.
Ms. Ferrick had been employed for fifty years as a registered nurse until the time of her retirement.

A longtime resident of Beverly, Joan dedicated her life to her profession but most of all, her children. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Marybeth Witham and her husband, Roger of Danvers, two sons, Thomas Dacey Jr. of Seattle, WA and James Dacey and his wife, Connie of Malden, four grandchildren, Thomas Dacey III, Amanda Towne, Olivia and Sophia Dacey, a great grandson, Thomas Dacey IV, two sisters, Margaret “Peggy” Chisholm of Lexington and Lorraine Desmond of Falmouth and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
