Obituary: John David Eklund, Technical Librarian for the Federal Aviation Administration
Served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era

John David Eklund 77, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2015 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.
Born and raised in Beverly, he was the son of the late Carl E. and Edith (Johannson) Eklund. He received his education in the Beverly school system and graduated from Beverly High School, class of 1955.
An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country during the Vietnam Era as a member of the United States Air Force.

Mr. Eklund had been employed for many years as a technical librarian for the Federal Aviation Administration until the time of his retirement in 2003.
He is survived by many longtime friends including, Karen Grant, Nancy L. Tyler and Bill Mitchell. He was also the brother of the late Carl M. Eklund.
