Obituary: Marion J. (Smith) Iannaccone, Raised and Educated in Scotland and Immigrated to the U.S. Following World War II

Marion J. (Smith) Iannaccone 92, of Beverly, beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Iannaccone, died Friday, March 20th, 2015 at Ledgewood Rehabilitation Center in Beverly.
Born in Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Masie (Trousdale) Smith. She was raised and educated in Scotland and immigrated to the United States following World War II. Upon entering the United States she resided in Maine and met her beloved husband Joseph. They moved together to Boston.

Marion had been employed with the Jordan Marsh Company in Boston prior to her marriage. Soon following her marriage, a family would follow and she would dedicate her life to raising her children and providing a warm and welcoming home for them to live. She took great pride in raising her children. Family, above all else, was most important in Marion’s life. Her children and grandchildren made her a very proud woman over the years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed.
Marion is survived by her daughter Angela Singer and her husband Larry of Beverly and her son Joseph Iannaccone and his wife Joan of Salem, her grandchildren, JosephIannaccone and his wife Christine of Topsfield and Lindsay Iannaccone of Salem, her three great grandchildren, Juliana, Gianna and Avery, her sister Millie Dickie of Scotland, her brother-in-law Jackie Crombie of Scotland and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Jean McGowan, Neon Crombie and William and Robert Smith.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral services are private. Assisting the family with the arrangements is The O’Donnell Funeral Home 46 Washington Sq., (At Salem Common) Salem.
