Obituary: Nancy (Kennedy) Kadlick, Known as the "Butterfly Lady"
She was a busy member of The Beverly Senior Center, volunteering her time there and an avid Bingo player.

Nancy (Kennedy) Kadlick, died unexpectedly Sunday, April 19th, after a brief illness. Her loved ones were with her at Lahey Hospital, Burlington, at the time of her passing. Nancy was born in Malden, MA, where she resided for a number of years prior to moving to Beverly.
Nancy, better known as the “Butterfly Lady” was the daughter of the late Irene (DePetris) Kennedy, and the late Joseph E. Kennedy. Nancy was the beloved granddaughter of the late Frank and Marie DePetris, who lovingly raised her. Nancy was adored by all the DePetris family; Raymond, Viva (Giberti), Calvin and Claire (Gabriel), who became brothers and sisters rather than aunts and uncles. All but Calvin and Claire were born in Castelvecchio Calvisio, Italy. All are deceased.

Nancy survived her late husband, Girard V. Kadlick Sr., better known as Gerry, a great guy. She is survived by one son, Girard V. Kadlick, Jr., a daughter, Barbara (Bobbi) Jean, both of Beverly and a daughter, Nancy Irene of Peabody, four grandchildren, Regene, Derek, Jackson and Katelyn. Also surviving Nancy are two brothers, Joseph E. Kennedy and his wife Linda, Thomas A. Kennedy and his wife Debbie, all of whom reside in Idaho. There are numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. One in particular, Elaine Gabriel, was a close companion.
She was a busy member of The Beverly Senior Center, volunteering her time there and an avid Bingo player. She was a gifted craftsperson, and well known amongst Beverly Seniors. Nancy was a long standing member of the Friendship Club, at The Center, and enjoyed many activities there. She will be sadly missed by many friends and relatives.
