Obituary: Norman C. Adams, Bank Manager

Norman C. Adams 87, beloved husband of the late Marion A. (Page) Adams, died Friday, May 8, 2015 at the Ocean View Assisted Living in Beverly.

Born and raised in Beverly, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Alice M. (Alain) Adams.
An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country during the Korean Conflict as a member of the United States Army.

Mr. Adams had been employed as a manager at the First National in Beverly until the time of his retirement.
A lifelong resident of Beverly, he was a member of the Wenham Country Club. He was an avid reader who was often seen with a book in his hand or in the Beverly Public Library. He also enjoyed bowling.

He is survived by his daughter, Joan M. Adams of Beverly and several nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Michael F. Adams and brother of the late Edward Adams.
