Obituary: Norman Kingsley Bushey, Employed by the U.S. Postal Service For 28 Years

Proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy, where he met his bride-to-be, Beverly.

Norman Kingsley Bushey, beloved husband of Beverly A. Bushey, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Thursday, April 23, 2015.

Born in Beverly, he was the son of Edward and Mary (Buckley) Bushey. He was a resident of Beverly and Port Charlotte, Florida. Norman proudly served his country in the US Navy, where he met his bride-to-be, Beverly.

After the Navy, Norman and Beverly were married and moved back to his hometown of Beverly. He worked 28 years for the US Postal Service, from which he enjoyed an early retirement. Norman loved to travel, spend time with his family, and the time he and Beverly lived in Florida. He was an avid golfer and a big fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.

In addition to his wife Beverly, Norman is survived by his three daughters, Elizabeth Taylor and her companion Thomas Fabian of Port Charlotte, Florida, Laura Acciavatti and her husband James of Beverly, and Judith Hartman and her husband Matthew of Amesbury; six grandchildren, Cayla and Michaeline Williams, Jessica Guitton and her husband Rodrigo, Kyle, Olivia, and Ryan Acciavatti, his sister Patricia Chalifour, and many nieces and nephews. Norman was predeceased by his beloved daughter Cynthia, his sister Gloria Turcotte, and his brother Edward Bushey, Jr.

Arrangements: Visiting hours are 4-7pm on Monday, at Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly, MA. A mass will be held on Tuesday, at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 253 Cabot Street in Beverly at 11am.
