Obituary: Steven L. Black, 66, Longtime Resident of Beverly

Steven L. Black, 66, son of Mary Frances ( Etheridge) Black and the late John H. Black Jr. died WednesdayFebruary 24 at Beverly Hospital. Born in Beverly, he lived here most of his life and was a graduate of Beverly High School, Class of 1966. Steven also attended Boston University and was in the construction business for many years.

Surviving him in addition to his mother are one sister, Linda M. Black of Beverly; one brother, Anthony “Tony” Black and his wife Annette of Daytona Beach, FL; one nephew, Jonathan Black and two nieces, Jennifer and Rachel Black; also three great nieces and one great nephew.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 28, 11:00 A.M. at Church in the Cove, 167 Hale Street, Beverly. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
