One-on-One Mayor's Race Headed to November
Tuesday's preliminary election decided the top two candidates who will be on the ballot for the Nov. 5 general election.
It will be Michael Cahill versus Wes Slate in the race for mayor this fall.
Voters on Tuesday eliminated Euplio "Rick" Marciano in the preliminary election.
Cahill topped the ballot with 2,969 votes, or 57 percent. Slate received 1,879 votes, or 36 percent.
Marciano had 325 votes, or 6 percent.
