Person Struck, Killed By Commuter Rail In Beverly
Police said the victim was hit near Montserrat Station early Saturday evening.

BEVERLY, MA — A person was struck and killed by a Commuter Rail train near Montserrat Station early Saturday evening, transit police said. The victim, who has not been publicly identified, was struck by an incoming Gloucester Line train around 5:30 p.m.
Police said foul play is not suspected. The victim, who police said was male but did not know how old, was pronounced dead at the scene.
