Police: Alcohol Violation Arrest; Accidents

Charles B. Brown, 50, of 490 Rantoul Street in Beverly was arrested and charged with violating the city’s open container of alcohol ordinance.

Martha Anne Mason-Hill, 56, of 5 Wallis Street in Beverly was arrested on a warrant.

Sunday, Jan. 10

At 10:28 p.m., there was a report of a loud stereo on Cabot Street.

Monday, Jan. 11

At 7:20 a.m., there was a tree blocking the roadway at Corning and Pearl Streets. The DPW was notified.

At 7:53 a.m., there was a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Essex Street.

At 8:30 a.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on Cabot Street.

At 8:47 a.m., there was a report of possible counterfeit money used at a business on Rte. 128 North.

At 9:11 a.m., there was a report of vandalism to a building on Cabot Street.

At 10:49 a.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on Enon Street.

At 1:21 p.m., there was a report of a past assault on Sohier Road.
