Police: Armed Robbery at Convenince Store; Bottle of Gas Thrown on a Porch; Party Filmed the Train Depot

Monday, April 6
At 4:46 p.m., motor vehicle stop on Cabot Street and Highland Avenue. Milton F. Alfaro, 36, of Lynn, was arrested for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a warrant out of Lynn District Court.
At 5:46 p.m., suspicious activity on Park Street. Party filming the train depot. Vehicle parked in taxi stand stated he was waiting for his fiance. Appeared to be having a video phone call with his “father” who said he was in Albania. Man denied, then admitted, pointing the camera towards the depot. Said he was showing his father the train.

At 5:52 p.m., vandalism on Wedgemere Road. Someone threw a rock through a window.
At 8:56 p.m., motor vehicle accident with injuries on Rantoul Street and Railroad Avenue. One person transported to an area hospital and two vehicles towed.

At 9:17 p.m., robbery with a knife at Super Petroleum on Cabot Street.
Tuesday, April 7
At 12:59 a.m., motor vehicle stop on Route 128 at Exit 19. Francesca N. Ciani, 39, of Portsmouth, N.H., was arrested for operating under the influence of liquor and marked lanes violation.
At 3:56 a.m., vandalism-destruction of property on Rantoul Street. Bottle of gas thrown on a porch. Beverly Fire notified.
At 9:19 a.m., trash dumping on Enon Street. Reporting party stated that several home appliances were placed in his Dumpster sometime overnight.
At 10:12 a.m., motor vehicle stop on River Street and Pleasant Street. A driver pulled out in front of a cruiser that was on a call with lights and sirens on despite officer squawking the siren several times. The vehicle never tried to pull to the side. Eventually the vehicle pulled into the train station parking lot. Officer ran the man’s plates after he cleared the call, and mailed a citation to the driver.
At 1:31 p.m., hazard in the roadway on Elliott Street. Nails dumped in the eastbound lane of the roadway.
