At 4:26 p.m., possible overdose on Mill Street.

At 5:19 p.m., road hazard on James Street. DPW notified of tree in the roadway.

At 7:09 p.m., annual Level 2 sex offender registration on Cabot Street.

At 7:12 p.m., tree down on Hart Street. DPW notified.

At 6:47 p.m., hazard on Elliott Street and Mcpherson Drive. Gates down. Train ran over gate. Gate broken, and Keolis on the scene.

Wednesday, March 18

At 3:24 a.m., assist Fire Department on Rantoul Street.

At 6:15 a.m., hazard on Park Street. Transformer arcing. National Grid and Fire Department notified.

At 7:57 a.m., report of a lost black wallet taken at the police station on Cabot Street. .

At 8:29 a.m., suspicious package on park Street.

At 11:55 a.m., hazard in the street at Congress Street and Wellman Street. Needles found by a citizen in the street. Needles located and properly disposed of.

At 2:19 p.m., bank robbery at People’s United Bank on Cabot Street. Suspect described as dirty overall appearance, maroon sweatshirt, black sunglasses, noticeable overbite, possible no top teeth, baggy sweatpants and tan work boots. Suspect fled on foot.

At 5:11 p.m., motor vehicle accident reported on Essex Street. Minor damages.
