Police: Beverly Man Arrested After Police Called Multiple Times for a Man Yelling Obscenities

Monday, Dec. 15
At 4:29 p.m., police received a call about three teens with wire or string across Pleasant street. Police found the kids were playing an imaginary game of Tug of War. There was no string or wire.
At 10:41 p.m., police arrested Jeffrey Alexander, 61, 66 Cabot St., Beverly, and charged him with disorderly conduct, destruction of property and threatening to commit a crime. Police made the arrest after being called three times to Cabot Street about a man yelling obscenities.

At 3:35 p.m., police responded to Butnam Street about kids throwing trash in the cemetery.
