Police: Bible Peddlers; Relationship Troubles; Tony Needs a Taxi

Friday, Jan. 22

At 6:05 p.m., there was a report of Bible peddlers on Kennedy Drive. The man provided a copy of a state peddlers license and said his boss was in the process of getting a peddlers license for Beverly. The man was advised to cease activities for the evening.

At 7:06 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Sohier Road.

At 7:53 p.m., there was a report of an unwanted guest on Chestnut Park. Police called a taxi for Tony.

At 9:14 p.m., five carloads of youths were dispersed on Essex Street.

At 11:05 p.m., there was a report of loud yelling on Davis Road. It was reported to be a drunk man upset about his ex being out on a date. When police arrived, an elderly woman told the officers to leave.

Saturday, Jan. 23

At 10:21 a.m., there was a report of harassment on Lothrop Street.

At 11:42 a.m., a parked motor vehicle was hit on Smithson Drive.

At 3 p.m., there was a hit and run accident with property damage on Cabot Street.

At 4:31 p.m., there was a two car accident with property damage on Elliott Street.

At 1:07 a.m., police dispersed a group of guys playing football on Lovett Street.
