Police: Bicycle Road Rage; Just Wanted to Say Hi

Friday, Sept. 11

At 4:59 p.m., police found a man sleeping in a van on Bridge Street with the ignition key in the seat next to him. The man smelled of fresh alcohol, and his vehicle was towed based on the admission of drinking alcohol.

Saturday, Sept. 12

At 8:31 a.m., there was a report of people camping in the woods near Putnam Street. The people in the woods were told not to camp there.

At 11:33 a.m., a Stone Street resident reported being harassed by a neighbor.

At 3:10 p.m., there was a report of a fight on Manor Road.

At 7:42 p.m, there was a report of a group of possibly intoxicated teens on Gage Street. The group was advised to keep it down.

At 9:42 p.m., there was a report of a past assault on Cabot Street.

Sunday, Sept. 13

At 1:47 a.m., someone on Park Street flagged down a police officer on Park Street. The person just wanted to say hi.

At 3:45 a.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on Goat Hill Lane.

At 10:10 a.m., there was a report of vandalism to a motor vehicle on Haskell Street.

At 11:17 a.m., there was a report of a road rage incident with bicyclists surrounding a vehicle on Essex Street.
