Police: Car into Pole; Egging

Friday, Jan. 8

At 7:21 p.m., there was a report of a cellphone and a backpack stolen from a locker on Sohier Road.

At 8:29 p.m., there was a report of two suspicious men not from the neighborhood in a truck on Pershing Avenue. There were no issues.

At 10:37 p.m., a car hit a pole on South Hardy Street and the operator fled the scene.

Saturday, Jan. 9

At 12:10 a.m., a window was reported broken on Balch Street.

At 12:31 p.m., there was a report of suspicious people attempting to go through a vehicle on River Street.

At 1:48 p.m., there was a report of possible hunters on Paine Avenue.

At 4:01 p.m., there was a two-car accident on Federal Street.

At 8:31 p.m., there was a report of teens egging a house on Odell Avenue.

At 1:14 a.m., there was a report of a fight in the street on Chase Street.
