Police: Emerson College Students Filming a Music Video on Train Tracks Advised to Film Elsewhere; Wrong-Way Driver Near Library; Loud House Party Shut Down

Friday, May 1
At 6 p.m., weapons turned in for safekeeping on Amherst Road. Ammo turned in for destruction.
At 9:03 p.m., suspicious activity on Rantoul Street. Door kicked open to apartment over Spotlight Tavern. Door forced open again. Evidence found that homeless are gaining access again. Door secured.

Saturday, May 2
At 1:26 a.m., disturbance on cabot Street. House party shut down because of loud noise.

At 11:26 a.m., credit card fraud on Lake Shore Avenue.
At 12:00 p.m., assist citizen, Handicapped person accidently locked in vehicle.Manager brought keys, and man was removed. He was not harmed.
At 12:57 p.m., assist citizen on Brimbal Road. Officer gave her and caregiver the names of locksmiths to open door, otherwise the door would have to be broken. Nothing of medical importance was needed from the room at the time.
At 2:15 p.m. disturbance on Scenna Road. Citation issued to motorist for excessive use of his motor vehicle horn. Man has been the subject of several complaints regarding his excessive use of his horn. A person witnessed the man laying on his horn while he was driving on Essex Street for no apparent reason. Several other people have complained about his individual’s driving behavior. The man was warned that continued driving behavior will result in immediate threat of license suspension.
At 3:19 p.m., disturbance on Cabot Street. Fight at the park. Kids dispersed.
At 4:15 p.m., hazard on Colgate Road. Tree down. Home did not appear to be damaged.
At 4:38 p.m., citation issued to motorists on Rantoul Street for failure to stop for pedestrians in crosswalk.
At 5:16 p.m., motor vehicle stop on Essex Street. Vehicle stopped for traveling the wrong way down the street in front of the library. Party is new to the area. verbal warning issued.
At 9:19 p.m., prevent breach of peace on Elliot Street.
At 9:42 p.m., kids on train tracks on Spring Street and Colon Street. Emerson College students filming a music video were advised to film elsewhere.
Sunday, May 3
At 1:11 a.m., motor vehicle stop on Bridge Street. Written warning for headlight out.
At 11:44 a.m., drugs found on Beckford Street. Party found corner twist of cocaine in hallway of apartment and turned the cocaine in.
