Police: This Goes to 11; Five for Fighting

Wednesday, Nov. 11

At 4:13 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Rantoul Street.

At 5:05 p.m., a pedestrian was struck by a car on Essex Street.

At 6:27 p.m., there was a report on Beverly Commons Drive of loud banging and yelling. Police spoke with both people involved and they said they were not arguing, they were moving around guitars and amplifiers to practice for an open mic night in Salem later in the evening.

At 8:06 p.m., there was a two car accident on East Lothrop Street.

At 9:11 p.m., a woman loitering in front of a business on Cabot Street was sent on her way.

At 10:18 p.m., there was a report of a man lying down in the woods near Conant Street. Police found no one in the area.

At 10:40 p.m., there was a man on Herrick Street who was not leaving and causing a disturbance. He eventually left on his own without incident.

At 11:30 p.m., there was a report of five people fighting at Park and Creek Streets. The crowd scattered upon police arrival.

Thursday, Nov. 12

At 5:38 a.m., a window was broken on Bow Street.

At 7:56 a.m., there was a motor vehicle accident with a trash truck involved at Cabot and Rantoul Streets.
