Police: Hammer Time; Drug Arrests

Arrests

Matthew D. Carr, 27, of 129 Sylvan Street in Danvers was arrested and charged with possession of a Class A drug.

Alison C. Hunt, 27, of 86 Essex Street in Beverly was arrested and charged with possession of a Class A drug.

Friday, Nov. 27

At 11:34 p.m., there was a report of an attempted break-in on Dodge Street.

Saturday, Nov. 28

At 12:53 a.m., there were additional patrols on Enon Street to help prevent possible break-ins to businesses.

At 1:40 a.m., there was a report of suspicious activity on Enon Street. Three men were looking for food, but no restaurants were open.

At 11:35 a.m., a resident on Rantoul Street locked herself out and thought she might have left the stove on, but the stove was not on.

At 4:41 p.m., there was a report of a woman yelling at a tow truck operator on Dodge Street.

Sunday, Nov. 29

At 12:32 a.m., a deer was struck by a car on Lake Shore Avenue.

At 4:30 a.m., there was a report of a stolen motor vehicle on Central Court.

At 7:41 a.m., there was a hit and run motor vehicle accident with property damage on Bridge Street.

At 1:27 p.m., there was a report of a suspicious package on the side of the road on West Dane Street. It was a pool pump.

At 3:07 p.m., there was a report of illegal dumping on Sohier Road.

At 3:38 p.m., there was a report of a man walking around with a hammer on Central Street. Police were unable to locate him.
