Police Log: One Arrest Made During Traffic Stop

Sunday, Dec. 14

At 5:49 p.m., police arrested Adrianny Mendes Costa, 27, 67 Endicott St., Peabody, and charged the person with operating a motor vehicle without a license and speeding. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop on Kernwood Avenue.

At 8:45 p.m., a person reported a person under a blanket at Cabot and Union streets. Police found it was a mattress and there was no person.

Monday, Dec. 15

At 7:35 a.m., police received a call about a homeless person sleeping in a hallway on Bow Street.

At 7:59 a.m., a Matthies Street resident reported a missing pocketbook.

At 8:33 a.m., an employee at a Cummings Circle business reported receiving texts from a terminated employee. The ex-employee said she was disappointed and wanted another chance. She said she wanted to stop by to talk. Police found no threats, but told the person who called to notify police if the ex-employee arrives.

At 8:42 a.m., a Glidden Street resident reported someone entered a parked vehicle. Nothing was taken.
