Police: Missing Girl Quickly Found; Man Behind Dumpster

Wednesday, Sept. 16

At 7:55 p.m., a six-year-old girl was reported missing on Broughton Drive. The girl was found at her friend’s house next door before police arrived.

At 9:53 p.m., there was a report of a barking dog on Hale Street.

At 10:39 p.m., a man behind a dumpster at Cabot and Federal Streets was sent on his way.

Thursday, Sept. 17

At 2:33 a.m., police spotted two kids on bikes with backpacks at Cabot Street and Railroad Avenue. The two said they were visiting their friend in Beverly and returning home to Lynn.

At 6:47 a.m., there was a complaint about construction vehicles being moved around before 5 a.m. on Bailey Avenue.

At 9:06 a.m., there was a report of graffiti on the Rte. 128 overpass.

At 9:26 a.m., there was a report of a past larceny on Cabot Street.

At 12:45 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident with an injury on Essex Street.

At 1:13 p.m., there was a motor vehicle hit and run accident with property damage on Cabot Street.
